Naki Hlomayi Muteto is a Chartered Accountant by profession, a natural conversationalist by passion, and the host of the Living in Fullness podcast.
Often asked how she balances the various facets of life, Naki uses her signature analogy of a balanced scale—just as a scale remains steady even when one side is elevated, so is life. In different seasons, some priorities take precedence, but the key is not allowing the scale to completely tip over. This approach to balance is at the heart of Living in Fullness.
Known for her ability to effortlessly steer conversations, Naki often finds herself asked to lead discussions, drawing out deep insights and stories from her guests.
Her natural gift for connecting with people has allowed her to engage in meaningful dialogues that resonate with listeners across the globe.
Born in Zimbabwe, raised in Zambia and completed her tertiary education in South Africa, Naki’s upbringing was diverse.
Her parents exposed her to both international schools and traditional boarding schools.
The international schools opened her eyes to the world through travel and learning about different cultures, while the traditional boarding school, with no phones and simple meals like beans, emphasized discipline, simplicity, and a focus on academics, without the modern luxuries of more urban or private institutions.
Although the boarding school experience once felt like a "prison," it ultimately taught Naki resilience and invaluable life lessons.
This unique blend of experiences has shaped her deep interest in understanding people from all walks of life.
With a background as a consultant, Naki has had the privilege of meeting people from diverse cultures, value systems, and backgrounds.
This exposure has enriched her podcast, where she has hosted guests from Zimbabwe, Zambia, South Africa, Ghana, the USA, the UK, Uganda, and more.
Living in Fullness reflects this diversity, touching on a wide array of topics—faith, relationships, career, personal growth, and more—because Naki believes that the various facets of life are deeply intertwined and all need to be nurtured for true fulfillment.
Through each conversation, Naki is reminded of how our backgrounds shape us, offering her audience a space for honest, insightful discussions that inspire holistic growth and encourage listeners to embrace their unique gifts and purpose in life. Naki believes that each conversation on Living in Fullness teaches her (and her audience) something new.
